Big improvement over the old one! Quick question about ipods and temperature. My ipod is always connected to my system in the car. On a few occasions its stopped working and i have had to do a reboot on it. This has happened when its been pretty cold in the car. Is it common is is my ipod fucked?

How long have you left it standing? Ipods go into hibernate mode after a couple of days.

Also, really cold temps kills battery life and yes, it's normal for it to go into complete shutdown mode when it's cold. I normally bring mine into the house during winter as I've wrecked one ipod leaving it in the freezing car for a month when I was abroad.
