I have had a chance to use one for about 20 mins this week, and I was not impressed with the screen at all (only slightly better then the 5800 screen) but the software was quick, BUT it still feels like the stone age compared the the Palm Pre which I also had a chance to use and man that OS is awesome!!

Still due to the lack of apps etc for the Palm, I will be getting the new Iphone.

£440 shit. And I've read rumours on the nets that O2 won't let people upgrade mid contract how they did with the iphone 3g unless they buy out the existing contract!

Its a bit harsh that they release the iphone 3g, make you sign up to a minimum of 18 month contract and then release a new one 12 months later!

Happens all the time dude, we will start seeing 24 month contracts as the norm soon, then they will get us into 3 year contracts like in America and Canada!!

Yep I got one on launch day, it is a quality bit of kit but man the battery aint lasting at all, as I am hammering it HARD.

Yeah, feel sorry for the 100,000 people lol esp with the new iphone (potentially) around the cornor. My contract on the 3G finished in December and was offered a free upgrade to the 3GS from O2 but it meant signing up for another 18 months. I was like screw that lol, so downgraded to simplicity and will get the new iphone on payg when it comes out. I think thats what I'm going to do now, just stay on a simpicity tariff and buy/sell phones on payg. That way can try them all out and sell staight away if not happy!

BUT as we all know the next Iphone was already in testing in April 2009!! Remember the guy who commited suicide when one of the 16 prototype iphones went missing which was sent to Apple HQ.

i dont think they are going to release info on the iphone 4 but more about the new software. this will indicate what the next version will be able to do.

I heard a rumour that the new tablet thing will run the iphone OS!! It got spotted in testing running the Iphone 3.2 OS, if it does then I am not interested in it like I was before. I have no need for a bigger iphone with the same OS on it.

I want something like the Snow Leapord OS or a hybrid of that.

There was some good news that came out of the meeting for the Apple faithful though. Jobs said that the next version of the Iphone will be an "A+" upgrade and that new 2010 Macs will be substantial upgrades on the current shipping models, bringing Apple up to the "next level".

So in that conference that happened last week, was anything said about any new iphone?! Will there be one this year?!

Nothing was about a new iphone last week, but in the 3.2 OS people have found coding for video conferencing which might mean a front facing camera in the new iphone??
