All CGI and bloody good too. It's been around for a couple of years, but won LOADS of awards due to the seamless digitisation of Lee's face, the nunchucks etc. Great vid Baris, never get bored of seeing that

of what?

I recently started learning nunchuks through my TKD club, I've learnt a form, I love it. Taken me a while to get used to them, but the more I play with them, the more comfortable I get. If you're entering some kind of tournament, let me know, I'll come along and watch :)

I have signed up for britains got talent 2010

Thats awesome Fas, they are really good to train with, and very good for the upper body work out. Which chucks are you using? Skinny speed chucks with a short rope, foam chucks or proper wooden ones, with a rope? The chain ones are terrible, except for the ones i bought in Syria 8 years, which are the only ones that have still not broken.

You know your getting good, when the chain or rope brakes, and the other half flies off, and puts a dent in the ceiling or wall

I've got foam ones with a chain. I tried some wooden ones, but i kept killing my elbow :D so using the foam to train. I have some foam rope ones but I like the ones I use.

Once i'm comfortable, I've seen some awesome chucks I want. From Cimac, all black with white tips, chained, and HEAVY!

These ones i assume https://vault2.secured-url.com/cimac/cgi-bin/shop_new.pl?act=proddetails&id=645#645 :)

They do look the bollox mate..Actually goes perfect with the outfit i will have on next year ;) But ball bearing ones do not last long. I know, as i went through them like butter when i first started out. Eventually, the chain pops out the socket.......BUT now i think about it, that was 15 years ago, and i thought about it, i should of put some oil in the bearings bit, every so offen, so it didnt dry up.

These are my favourite and training ones. https://vault2.secured-url.com/cimac/cgi-bin/shop_new.pl?act=proddetails&id=172#172

Rope ones i find are more fluent, and when they snap, i just replace them. I'll bring a pair or 2 to gaydon, give ya some tips

The form you learnt is with double chucks?

No, I learnt a single chuck form, seen here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9F3-MQdgcU&feature=player_embedded

I'm on an intermediate grade for another grading cycle (3 months), when I get to advance student, that's when I'll be learning the double-chuck form

XKaLiBaR

Oh my god, that form is so bland! No switching of the hands, just bounces of the body parts!
Does your instructor always use the skinny short show chucks?

Double is a tricky thing. You can swing both arms same way, but to move the other differently, gets you twisted, and you tend to hit your head

Double chucks have advanced shit loads since i first started, and i never had youtube to see what moves were out ther. I need to buy for the first time in my life some foam ones, to practise with. :D

Fas

Yeah, the first firm is basic, but you have to remember, it's meant to teach the elements of how to hold the chuck to people who've never done it before. There are more complex forms but you have to start somewhere :)

Depending on when you need the chucks for, i've got a couple of different foam chucks, you're welcome to try them before committing to buy. There's lots of different ones and I know that when I've played with others, I didn't like the feel, chain too short etc.
